Our
Internship Process
allows students the opportunity to obtain internships that
provide the hands-on training and experience needed to
secure permanent placement as a substance abuse counselor.
After a student's fourth module the internship process
begins. Internship assignments can vary based on the student’s
preference for modality, population and other variables. All
internship sites are licensed by OASAS and the hours
accumulated apply towards the requirements needed to take
the New York State CASAC examination.

the largest provider of CASAC training in the state
of New York , we believe in the win/win mentality. The
evaluation of a student’s eligibility for
internship placement considers several factors in
order to guarantee successful internship placements.

Our
Assistance Continues...
Concurrently and subsequent to our internships, permanent
job opportunities are developed through job leads and
specific referrals to appropriate opportunities. All
placements are monitored to assure a positive career
enriching experience.
