Adolescent Outpatient Services

After School Program

Outreach provides After School/Outpatient services. The after school and evening program is specifically designed to address the individual developmental needs of substance abusing and high risk adolescents, ages 12-18, and their families. The length of program participation varies based on the specific needs of the families. Services are also provided for those who are affected by another's alcohol and substance abuse (significant others).

The overall goal is to support young people in acquiring the necessary skills and confidence to remain substance free and continue to grow into healthier adults. Additionally, the program focuses on helping members to develop their own personal growth/recovery goals while providing support and structure.

This service is built on a model which creates opportunities to achieve and recognize specific age-appropriate objectives as the adolescent moves through various levels of recovery. In order to accomplish this goal, a wide range of planned structured activities which emphasize appropriate interdependence among clients and staff is utilized as an integral part of the recovery process.
