Richmond Hill (primarily), Queens/Greenpoint, Brooklyn/Brentwood, Long Island Responsible for managing and ensuring the quality and consistency of administrative, as well as fiscal operations and procedures for all Outreach training locations. Components of the position include administrative/personnel responsibilities; program and fiscal management and regulatory compliance; and student management. Must be extremely organized and detail focused, with the ability to set up systems, establish outcomes and manage, based on those outcomes. Must have the ability to interface with multiple levels of management; communicate up, down and across chains; understand the CASAC program and/or similar training/educational type programs; can effectively establish and manage systems and structure, while creating a caring and supportive educational environment, and, has flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt given the circumstances of the day, creatively problem solving issues that arise. Excellent computer skills are required. Must be flexible to provide oversight for training programs located in three different locations which operate Monday through Saturday during the day and evening. The majority of this position is located in Richmond Hill, Greenpoint (1-2 days per week), Brentwood (occasionally). Minimum of 5 years experience working in a fast-paced office environment including 2+ years managing/supervising other support personnel. Experience working in an academic setting a plus. Knowledge of CASAC program and/or a CASAC-T or CASAC a plus. Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience/proficiency in Access or other database programs a plus.
Outreach House I, Ridgewood, Queens Provide services through the delivery of all formats (e.g. individual family session, parent support group, multi-family group, etc.) as directed by the Coordinator of Family Services to both the adolescent and family members throughout the treatment episode. Part time, 19 hours per week. Wednesdays, 5PM to 10PM and Saturdays 12PM to 5PM are mandatory. There is some flexibility in the remaining 9 hours, however, some evenings are required. CASAC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT required. Must be a QHP licensed by NY State. Must have experience working with families and adolescents. Therapeutic community or experience working in other substance abuse treatment setting required. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Outpatient Services, Bellport, Long Island Provide administrative support including front desk reception, phone screenings, scheduling appointments, opening and closing of client charts, filing, data entry, etc. HS Diploma or equivalent required with 2 years experience. Experience working in a health field, substance abuse or non-profit setting preferred. Schedule for this position is Mon/Tues/Thurs, 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM; Friday, 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Outreach House I, Ridgewood, Queens The primary role of the Overnight Counselor is to oversee the health and welfare of all residents in the program. CASAC-T preferred but may consider CASAC-T eligible with relevant experience. Experience working with adolescents and/or experience working in a therapeutic community preferred. Schedule for this position is Friday and Saturday, 11 PM to 7 AM.
Outreach House II, Brentwood, Long Island Primary role of the Aftercare Counselor is to empower former residents to utilize the skills they developed in residential treatment at home and in their community and strengthen their sobriety as they continue their personal growth and success. CASAC, LMSW or other QHP required. Must have experience working with adolescents and/or experience working in a therapeutic community. Schedule for this position is Tues/Wed/Fri, 4 PM to 10 PM.
Outreach House II, Brentwood, Long Island Responsibilities are to provide counseling services to adolescents in a residential treatment setting. Outreach House II is a 24-hour facility, so shifts may vary and may include evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts. CASAC or CASAC-T required.May consider CASAC-T eligible with relevant experience. Must have experience working with adolescents and/or therapeutic community experience.
Outreach Haven, Flushing, Queens Responsible for providing overall supervision of adolescent females in a non-secure detention setting. Responsible for transporting residents to and from court, medical, and other appointments. Clean and valid NYS driver's license required. Minimum of high school diploma or GED required. Experience working in a non-secure detention or experience working with at-risk youth required.
