Our Mission is to provide the finest quality of training to those who deeply care about successfully treating drug abuse and alcoholism, while inspiring the student with a vision of personal wellness. OTI intends that its students make solid, realistic, substantive contributions to the field of addiction and recovery, not merely coping with the world around them, but influencing it. The Institute values the pursuit of health and wellness by individuals and families in recovery, as a lifelong alternative to addiction. Outreach Training Institute has been providing high quality training opportunities on drug abuse issues for over 20 years. Approved by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), the training institute specializes in providing the 350-hour Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) diploma program. Our program combines didactic presentations with experiential training. Upon completion of the program, students have all of the course work necessary to sit for the New York State CASAC credentialing exams.
