Outreach Family Services provides outpatient
treatment for persons, aged 18 and older with alcohol and other
substance abuse problems. In
addition, the program also provides services for significant others
who have been affected by another’s alcohol or other substance
abuse.
Similar in design to our other outpatient units, this program is
based on a multilevel model creating opportunities to achieve and
recognize specific goals as clients move through various levels of
recovery. Clients are encouraged by staff and peers, as program
"members", to become actively involved in the treatment
process. This experience allows each person to break the isolation
and become members of the larger external community. In order to
accomplish this, the program utilizes a wide range of planned
structured activities which emphasize appropriate interdependence
among clients and staff as an integral part of the recovery process.
Length of stay is dependent on individual need.
