Full Scholarships:
From time to time, OTI has been able to offer full
scholarships to a limited number of qualified individuals through a
generous foundation grant. When available, these scholarships
are meant to provide economically disadvantaged students with an
opportunity for training within OTI. To qualify, you must be either
unemployed or working PT and only have your H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
You also must live in the five boroughs of NYC. Other
restrictions also apply. If interested in pursing this
scholarship, please call in 718.847.9233 x 309 and ask to be placed
in the Full Scholarship waiting list. The Scholarship is available
only to those students who attend our Queens / Brooklyn campus.
In
addition, over the last several years OTI has also been able to
provide additional full scholarships to qualified individuals under
a special Department of Health Workforce
Retraining Grant.
If you are a current or laid off
healthcare worker such as a substance abuse counselor and are not a
Qualified Health Professional you may qualify. If interested
in pursuing this scholarship, please have your training director or
immediate supervisor request an application packet from
janicehannigan@opiny.org.
