Outpatient Substance Abuse
 Services for Adults

These services provide outpatient treatment for persons, aged 18 and older with alcohol and/or other substance abuse problems.

The programs are built on a multilevel model creating opportunities to achieve and recognize specific goals as clients move through various levels of recovery. Clients are encouraged by staff and peers, as program "members", to become actively involved in the treatment process. This experience allows each person to break the isolation and become members of the larger external community. In order to accomplish this, the program utilizes a wide range of planned structured activities which emphasize appropriate interdependence among clients and staff as an integral part of the recovery process.

Some of the programs pay particular attention to health needs and employ a nurse and medical director. Length of stay is dependent on individual need.
