DWI/DUI Services

Outreach is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services as a DWI Screening and Assessment Provider. Specialized programs are offered for individuals who are referred for evaluation or treatment as a result of a DWI or DUI violation, and who meet the minimum provisional diagnosis parameters for alcohol abuse or dependence under DSM-IV criteria. Participants meet weekly and are expected to attend individual, as well as group sessions and additional self-help or community meetings. Participants must meet specific behavioral criteria to successfully complete the program, including regular attendance, abstinence monitored by saliva testing and/or toxicology, and submission of homework assignments.

Services are available in Richmond Hill-Queens, Greenpoint-Brooklyn, and Bellport-Long Island.
